Life gets busy. If you forgot to open CocoCut yesterday or over the weekend, you can easily backfill missing moments using videos already recorded on your phone.
Navigation Note: CocoCut's "Footprints" calendar is a read-only visual mosaic; you cannot tap calendar cells to backfill. Importing clips is always initiated through the Studio media library.
Step-by-Step Backfill Process

Enter the Studio & Media Library From the camera viewfinder, tap the Studio icon in the bottom right, then open the media library / add clips button.

Select From Device Albums Tap "Choose From Album" to bring up the photo gallery picker. Browse and pick video footage shot on the target date.

Trim the Best Clip Slide the yellow edge handles to isolate the best 1–2 seconds from that video.

Add to Active Vlog Confirm and save. The trimmed snippet joins your active Vlog timeline as a new "格" (Clip).

Footprints Calendar Syncs Automatically Head to "More" > "Footprints". The previously empty date cell now illuminates with the frame from your imported clip.
